MMC Calibration offers our customers a varied selection of calibration services.

NIST TRACEABLE CALIBRATION
- Notification of Out of Tolerance Conditions.
- As Found out of tolerance data readings only.
- A Certificate of Calibration traceable to NIST.
ANSI Z540.1 ACCREDITED CALIBRATION
- Notification of Out of Tolerance Conditions.
- All As Found and As Left data readings. (Optional at extra cost)
- A Certificate of Calibration traceable to NIST which contains the accredited calibration logo and our registration number.
ISO 17025 ACCREDITED CALIBRATION
- ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Accredited Calibration.
- Notification of Out of Tolerance Conditions.
- All As Found and As Left data readings.
- Measurement Uncertainties reported at a coverage factor of k = 2, which for a normal distribution corresponds to a coverage of approximately 95%.
- A Certificate of Calibration traceable to NIST which contains the accredited calibration logo and our registration number.
ANSI Z540.3 ACCREDITED CALIBRATION
NOTE: ANSI Z540.3 was withdrawn as an active standard in October 2020
MMC does not offer Z540.3 calibrations.

- Notification of Out of Tolerance Conditions.
- All As Found and As Left data readings.
- Measurement Uncertainties reported at a coverage factor of k = 2, which for a normal distribution corresponds to a coverage of approximately 95%.
- A Certificate of Calibration traceable to NIST which contains the accredited calibration logo and our registration number.
- Test Uncertainty Ratio (TUR) reported on the certificate of calibration
- Measurement guard-banding reported on the certificate of calibration.
CALIBRATION INTERVAL POLICY
COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS
Setting of calibration intervals shall be a responsibility of the customer. The calibration interval is required to be in writing on the purchase order or a letter submitted with the instrument. If a calibration interval is not requested, it shall be assigned by the manufacturer’s recommendation (normally 1 year).MILITARY/GOVERNMENT
Calibration intervals shall be set as listed in NAVSEA OD 45845 Metrology Requirements List (METRL) unless otherwise requested in writing at the time the order is placed.
